Moved to Miami
Miami, FL
April 1, 1983
Accepted position offered by distributor in Miami. so I moved.
I drove all day and night the next day I reached Florida on I-10, it took me all that day and night to reach Miami.
I moved into a place on the beach, my apartment's deck looked out on the Atlantic.
The place that I worked was north west of Miami Beach and I had to take I-95 to get there. You know they had traffic jams in Miami too every day.
I did work out a sweet deal with Carnival cruise lines, I met them every Saturday and repaired the vending machines. And they paid me just to show up.
Miami is a different kind of place, if you could ship dirt there you could make a fortune.
