Back about this time, did a lot of Canoeing. Hit the Siuslaw headwaters particularly hard in those years, and was running a trapline there. The dense undergrowth in this rainforest can sometimes be delt with using a small canoe. Canoeing the small rivers of the Coast Range has a real Wilderness feel to it.
