Fischer
Great Falls, Montana
1974
One of the central characters in my life has turned out to be my friend Fischer. He's about a year younger than me and (as you can see) a good deal shorter. This shot is of us at a Christmas party in about 1974 or so......We met in 1969 when his family moved in across the street from us. Later they moved from Great Falls to Springfield Oregon. When I lost my job at World Wide Press, (December 1976) wrote Fischer and he located a possible job for me out in Oregon. Sure enough, was able to get that job and moved out here. Today both he and I still live in the Eugene/Springfield area.
