Born youngest of three children into a lower, middle-class family. Mom stayed home until I went to 1st grade and then she returned to work. We were cared for by our grandmother when she was working. My mom was the dominant person in our house, and she was the one who taught me how to love, but she also taught me many things I did not want to do to my children. She was a "single mom" before they had the phrase to describe it. My father worked two jobs and was never home. I now think that it was his way of avoiding parenthood. I'm sure that if he had had a choice, he would have chosen not to have children, but this was pre-birth control. When he was around, which was rarely,he was emotionally and physically abusive. He believed that you had to be at least 18 before you had anything worthwhile to say. He was unloved in his childhood, so he didn't know how to love a child. I've forgiven him, but I haven't forgot. Life Path is showing birth is 2nd item, and I couldn't fix it.
