Love to Cruise
May 9, 2006
I got hooked on cruising when our daughter & son-in-law took us for our 35th anniversary on Mariner of the Seas which is a beautiful ship. We went to Ocho Rios, Jamacia (alittle scarey but had a ball), swam with the sting rays in Georgetown, Grand Cayman (would not do that now with all the people I hear being killed by them. Did get to snork which I had never in my life thought I would do. Did not want to get out of the boat as I do not swim great but then they could not get me back into the boat. Only wish I had been brave and swam over to the coral like the rest of the people on the tour did so I could have seen the nurse shark and moray eel. Oh well, another time. And to Cozumel, Mexico which we did not get to see anything because of the hurricane that did so much damage 6 mo's before. Their private island in Haiti. The crystal blue waters was just breathe taking.
Went on my second cruise to Bermuda which was very nice but the Explorer of the Seas is not the Mariner. The third cruise was on the Caribbean Princess which was a beautiful ship and the food was wonderful, service great and this time I got to see St. Marteen,V.I; St. Thomas and then their private island which was very pretty. Hopefully we are suppose to go on another cruise this Nov. on a Disney ship and I so look forward to going. Hopefully money will work out so we can go.
