A large white framed wood home with a wrap around porch. 3 bedrooms/1 bath &
steep stairway to a dark wooded attic.
Originally on 40+ acres & then some sold to the state for 295 bypass of Jax.
Large magnolia & mullberry tree near the house and many large pines on the property. We had chickens, beef cows & a beautiful garden. Dad & I made roads & paths through the property & dad had a nice artesian feed pond dug.
My dog was a beautiful "lassie" dog named Tippy.
I lived there 3 different times: birth,
4th grade-& end of 6th grade-seminary &
marriage.
We could hear mom on her way home from work as she came down the dirt road in her Desoto & hitting the cattle gap.
Dad sold the property and a company that raises trees for replanting around developments is there now.
