India Trip September 16, 2008
Plan on making a "Medical Tourism" trip to India this fall/summer, for the wife. We are still hammering out the particulars and waiting on the passports. Insurance doesn't cover what she needs done and this is the cheapest way. Not being Globe Trotters by any means, find it a bit daunting to make my first trip overseas to someplace as exotic as India. But it will be a learning experiance of the first order, I'm sure. Am

Shooting 2007 - Springfield Oregon
Ever since I met a boy with a bb gun out in the road in front of my Parents house in the early '60's; I've had a passion for rifles and handguns. Today I've any number of them and reload for most of the calibers I use. Guns have been one of the enduring joys of my Life.

Vegas 2007 - Las Vegas, Nevada
Lorita found a good plane/hotel deal for Vegas. So this year, I took my vacation time for the varmint hunt and took the trip. Had never been to Vegas. It's certainly a different sort of place. There is an energy there that is unlike anything else I've ever experianced.

Fischer still around 2005 - Eugene Oregon
By 2005 Sandee is dead. Cuz is dead. Wess and Mike live in different towns in Montana. But Fischer is still around. This is a shot from his Wedding day. They are still doing well in Eugene.

River Boat in Salem 2004 - Salem Oregon
We cut loose, got wild and drove up to Salem to take a paddle boat ride on the Willamette River. The captain let Lorita take the wheel for a while, as you can see.

Coast Anniversarys 2003 - Oregon Coast
Seems like Lorita and I usually spend our wedding anniversaries on the Oregon Coast. We take advantage of special "comped" rates for Motels at Indian Casinos either in Lincoln City or Coos Bay. This pic was snapped in Lincoln City when we found a "gambler special" at the Liberty Inn. We even made their front door sign that trip.

May Varmint Hunts 2002 - Near Burns Oregon
Seems like I usually get an annual Varmint hunt in, since about 2002,- sometime in May. After being cooped up by the Rain, and work with it's 12 hour daze, it's fab to head out to Burns and chase the Varmints around.

Death of Cuz December 31, 2001 - Great Falls, Montana
A life of vices finally caught up to Cuz Ken in his home, as Pam (his wife) prepared for New Years Celebrations. Emphysema claimed him, that night, before the New Year......Cuz was unlike anyone I have ever met. He had a sense of honor much as one might imagine in a Mideval Knight. Yet the same guy seemed to have a fear of success and was a slave to beer and cigarettes. He was my companion during some of the best days of my life and I will forever be in his debt. If bad ever came to worse, he was the guy I'd want watching my back. The 21st Century just doesn't make guys like Cuz.

Addition finally Done September 1, 2000 - Springfield Oregon
Lorita has 2 boys from an earlier marrage. So we would be mighty snug in Sandee and my old place with the 4 of us. Resolved to slap on an addition. Nothing like this finishes up exactly on one particular day, but by Sept. 1, 2000 we were pretty well finished with the adventure. (And the boys now had their own rooms)

Married Lorita February 14, 2000 - Eugene Oregon
Valentines Day 2000 we tied the knot in the Lane County Courthouse. Scampered off to Newport for the honeymoon. Fischer had gotten us into a Timeshare at the Embarcadero

Sandee's Death October 2, 1997 - Springfield Oregon
Sandee had Epilepsy (from a head trauma she received in a car wreck in 1980)....In the night of Oct 1/ Oct 2 she had a spell and turned face down on her pillow. She smothered. I was sleeping in the other room and left for work early that morning not wishing to disturb her. Discovered the event when I got home at 3:00pm. Worst day of my life - and nothing else even comes close. This photo was strangely prophetic. It was taken at my parents house in July. Inside of 3 months, not only would Sandee be dead, but the house you see behind her burned down when the neighbors son forgot to turn off the stove.
